Three-decade run leading AAAE will end Dec. 1; search for successor to start in May Barclay Chip Barclay will retire as CEO of the American Association of Airport Executives Dec. 1, after leading the group for 30 years. "The opportunity to serve airport executives and help grow AAAE has been an honor and a privilege," Barclay said in a March 27 statement. "My thanks to all who have shared the path with me."
